Classic Weekend Morning

Dear Reader,

Our beloved commentators have been quite critical lately.

Casper wants more current music, while claiming that it is almost impossible for us old people to stay current. Thanks for that statement.

And Smiles begs me not to replay the songs, I have picked so far.
A sensitive person could be devastated. Gladly, I am not.

Smiles, and all others, can be reassured, we will not repeat ourselves. That's what the archive in the right sidebar is for. The beauty of the internet.

Back to weekend music.

My weekend mornings usually start with an espresso, orange juice, a cigarette and classical music. Nothing fancy or extraordinary, just brilliant music to match my mood.

It can be Bach, Beethoven, Haydn, or something like the following.
From the all time master of great melodies, Mozart, Marriage of Figaro:

Enjoy your weekend,
Engine Room

Very beautiful, ER, but please cancel the cigarette. You know it makes sense.

Dear Smiles,

Glad you like it.
A beautiful arrangement for wind instruments exists, here is a video:

Sorry, not the best quality.

Smiles, you may wish to point ER (and Pete and I) to an old post 'farewell november, one for the diabloggers...' !!

Had to go all the way back to November 2011 to find it. Quite right. All 3 of you should look at it again.
When I was 16 years, I had to make a major financial decision. Cigarettes or beer. Beer won and I have been on a diet since then. Must work out more to enjoy the time in UK with you.
need a good pub with real ale.

Hi Smiles. A tip as I don't know how you found it but you infer that maybe you trawled everything. If I am teaching Smiles (or any one else for thet matter) you have 2 tools at your disposal which save time if you are searching something.
Either click on the relevant label as indicated by ER - ok if you have a favourite or know the relevant one.
Or, on the top left of the screen is a search button, and just type in the post name we give you/you want.
Hope this helps.
ER will probably moan that all is in Q+A but maybe I have saved you time.
Have a good one.

I did not trawl eveything as I am not a deep sea fisherman. More a (trouser) fly fisherman.
As it was Farewell November, I just went back to 2012, couldn't find it, so went to 2011 and Bingo !
Thanks for the tip. please pass on more to Arsene Wenger.
PS. I am glad that I do not have 2 tools. There again, it would keep Manuela happy and busy.
