In an earlier Real Deal post Engine Room suggested having a mini category of blues music - so here's the next.
As I mentioned here, I was introduced seriously to the genre by a cousin who, at the time, was besotted by Jimmy Reed. His absolute favourite, at the time, was Bright Lights, Big City.
I had mentioned sometime earlier that I was lucky enough to visit New York for 2 to 3 days every fortnight during the '60's and...
...managed on one of these to see him live at Madison Square Gardens (is it still there ER?) and hear him sing
'You've Got Me Dizzy'But whatever of his turns you on, 'Shame, Shame, Shame' - which has been covered by almost everyone with or without voice is still the one for me
I do hope that you have enjoyed these bits of my past,
Yours, diablog, reflecting
Glynsky

Great songs and a great blues singer.
Well done Pete. 10/10
So,
now it's my fault again?
Why am I not surprised?
At least it is worth the blame, very nice music, indeed.
