Dear Reader,
Glynsky, SGM and I enjoy traveling a lot and let you read about it here on diablog.
Recently I had to attend a meeting in Paris. If you arrive at any Paris train station, usually you hop into a cab, just to be stuck in traffic.
Upon my arrival, it was worse, there was a huge line of people waiting to get a cab already. That's when I was approached by a guy, asking whether I'd be open to an alternative. Being in a rush, I was.
This is what the gentleman showed me:

Within a few seconds I was "dressed", on the bike and we quickly got, where I needed to be. Passing hundreds of cars stuck in jams.
And it was great fun too. You do see the city differently from a bike, if you do not have to concentrate on driving that is.
I later learned, you can take a motorbike taxi from the airport too. But that's not my cup of tea.
One word of caution, no your distances and the approximate cab fare. Or expect "to be taken for a ride" in more then one way.
Enjoy the ride,

Dear Engine Room.
Congratulations for using your initiative. Sounds like a great idea.
Best Wishes from the Conch Republic. Tomorrow flying in an open cockpit of a 1942 biplane of the Conch Republic Air Force. Havana here we come !
Have a rum and ... dance!
The rum is not a problem but I am not sure that I will be permitted to dance on the wings.
Well, ER, I'm just glad you got your brain descrambled since you left here. Most of the men who have asked you if you 'would like to try an alternative' aren't in Paris, but outside the Admiral pub in Great Compton Street.
