engine room boogie...

Dear diablog,

I apologise if this continues a theme not to your taste, but Engine Room, as usual, has insisted on going further than his brain can cope!

Therefore, referring back to the 1920's, first a taste of Jelly Roll Morton...

and, to keep him busy for days with his battered Roland, a lesson for ER on which I will test him when I next see him

Sadly the film that has Dick Hyman teaching you how to play this 'a la Jelly Roll' has been deleted for copying, though you could find it here if you are interested. Your task for the week ER is to find it, study it and demonstrate!!!

Yours diablog, with fingers in a blur!

Maybe I should mention, that Boogie Woogie goes onto my nerves after a couple of minutes.

Yet another thing Glynsky has in common with Boogie Woogie.

Well that's good - I'll flood diablog with boogie, though in your case it will be 'nights' only!!
